We had a tough week with the full moon and the warmer than usual weather. We
still caught some good fish but their patterns have changed. With the
approaching cold front, the fishing should be on fire again.

There was a decent bite in Sebastian Inlet has been very good for Pompano,
jacks and a few bluefish. The warmer water has keep the snook and redfish
active as well. The only issue is that the blues outside the inlet are very
aggressive and tear up your baits before the others can get to them. The
Redfish, Snook and Tarpon have been feeding in Sebastian Inlet at night on
bucktails and plugs. Mangrove Snapper, mutton Snapper and Lane Snapper have
been on the rocks in Sebastian Inlet as well as on the rockpiles in the
river near the inlet. Live shrimp and jigs have been the best bait for the
Snapper.

The river and flats from Melbourne to Sebastian inlet have had some bait on
them and there are a few decent trout as well as snook and redfish mixed in
as well. We have caught Pompano, ladyfish, jacks and even a few bonefish
this week on the flats close to the inlet. Find the schools of bait and you
should be able to find the fish.

Fishing the Sebastian River, Turkey Creek in Palm Bay and Crane Creek in
Melbourne has been productive. We have caught Snook, jacks, ladyfish and
Mangrove Snapper on Storm Twitch Sticks rigged with vmc inline hooks along
the oyster bars and mangrove shorelines.
