We have had a great few weeks fishing in and around Sebastian Inlet. The
over slot Redfish and Snook bite has been great in the inlet and at the
jetties. There has been some bait on the beach near Vero Beach and off of
Melbourne Beach with a few Tarpon and Cobia in the mix as well. The inlet
has had good numbers of Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel and a few Pompano
around. The Snook bite in the River around Sebastian and Grant has been
pretty decent with a few fish up to 42″ on artificial lures.
I am looking forward the last cold front and consistent warm weather. As
soon as we can get some consistent weather, the bait will move inshore and
along the beaches from Port Canaveral to Melbourne Beach to Vero beach and
the fishing will only get better!
