Had a good few trips in the last week fishing Sebastian Inlet, and the
inshore water of Sebastian and Vero Beach. The Pompano have been running
pretty good. Been getting a lot of nice Pompano, Jacks, Bluefish and
Mackerel on Doc’s goofy jigs as well as soft plastic jigs. The trout bite
has been ok around the spoil Islands as well. I have also had a trip or two
out of Port Canaveral to look for Cobia. We have fished In the Melbourne
Beach area in 60ft of water and found some fish on Manta Rays. I am looking
forward to light winds and more bait pods moving into the area so we can get
back off Melbourne Beach to target some more Cobia.
